The classic room was new-fashioned and had a safe, central heating, and an iron. I️ had a great view overlooking garden. The location was decent and nice, within easy walking distance of Christ-Konig-Kirche. The airport was 10 km away.

Near hamburger kunsthalle and all the action. The gardens were lovely here. The staff was absolutely GREAT. Of course, we totally recommend it to family.

I recently stayed at Hotel Engel in Hamburg for a few nights while visiting relatives nearby. The hotel is conveniently located with a bus stop right outside and an U-Bahn station a short walk away. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing enough space for our family. The breakfast selection was impressive and the breakfast staff, particularly a young lady and gentleman, were polite and spoke excellent English.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Lovely room, very clean, nice bathroom, good breakfast. Staff was helpful and friendly. the neighborhood was nice and there were quality restaurants nearby. the bed was comfortable and they even provided a bed for our child without us asking. the location was a bit outside the city center but easily reachable by metro.

A pleasant surprise at Hotel Engel! The location was ideal, just a short distance from the city center and close to the beautiful Tiergarten. The staff, especially one elderly man at reception, went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Our room was clean, modern, and spacious, providing us with a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered at the hotel was excellent, and the restaurant, although separate, served delicious food. We were even lucky enough to attend a wedding reception at the hotel, and the catering was faultless. The hotel also offered a relaxing atmosphere, situated near a restaurant and surrounded by peaceful woods. Despite a few minor inconveniences such as thin walls and a small shower with a curtain, and the building showing some signs of age, our overall experience at Hotel Engel was positive. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a satisfying stay.

As women travelling alone, we felt safe and well taken care of. the hotel is conveniently located near the U-Bahn for easy transportation, and it's just a short taxi ride to the airport. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with enough room for all of us and even space for the kids to play. the breakfast selection was huge, ensuring we never went hungry.
